We're paid by the supplier. When you switch through us, the supplier includes a margin in your unit rate as our commission. This happens in every energy contract -- going direct doesn't remove it, it just means the supplier keeps it. Using a broker means that margin has to work for you: a better rate than you'd find alone, less hassle, and someone on your side if something goes wrong.

Because that model doesn't survive renewal. If we put you on a bad deal to earn a bigger commission, you leave when the contract ends and we lose the relationship.
