About this service
Ductly is a trading service of Ductly Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17192912), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We provide a free energy quote comparison service for UK businesses. By using our website or submitting a quote request, you agree to these terms.
Our service
We are an energy broker. We help businesses compare and switch to a new energy contract. Our service is free to you. We are paid a commission by the supplier you choose, which is typically included within the unit rates of your contract. Before you enter into any contract through us, we will disclose the commission we will receive, in cash terms or as a rate per unit, so you can see exactly what we are paid.
Quote accuracy
Quotes presented through our service are indicative and based on information you provide and current market rates. Final rates are subject to supplier credit checks and contract confirmation. We make no guarantee that any quoted rate will be available at the point of contract signing.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that:
- You are authorised to act on behalf of the business named in your quote request
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You will not use this service for any unlawful purpose
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, design, and code, is owned by Ductly Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our written permission.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under law. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, Ductly Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or any energy contract entered into as a result of our service. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our service, please use our contact page and we will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it promptly. Our full complaints procedure is available on our website. If we cannot resolve your complaint within eight weeks, and you are a microbusiness, you may refer it free of charge to the Energy Ombudsman, the independent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme we belong to (membership reference C35DUCT01). The Energy Ombudsman's decision is binding on us. You can reach them at energyombudsman.org or via the contact details set out in our complaints procedure.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of our service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
